SkyBox for Space Station/Moon Base Map

I will be uploading my sketches of the space station and moonbase soon, and need them digitalized.

Redrawn is problly a better word for it. I have just made a basic outline of the shape and structure they will be, and will give a desciption of desired placement of each item in the skybox.

Since both objects will be in the map that has them also in the skybox, it will be important to have them in a place that can't be seen in their respective environments.


I may also have them scaled down and put in the skybox of the planet too.

ok, I think all of you have the skybox that I am wanting to remake.


It is called hplanet. I am wanting to redo this, and make the planet more high def.

When doing this, be sure to keep the planet on the same side as it currently is.


Maybe add some other planets very small in the back ground.

I have no idea what hplanet is, and don't know how to make/edit a skybox. I do know how to make images of a starscape and planets in Photoshop, though, pretty easy technique. A little halp?

Now to find a program where I can view all of them, instead of just one at a time, in HLMV.

So you just want some more planets and stuff added? Maybe like, a distant view of the space station for the moon base or something?

I just added a little (crappy) planet to this one, is that the idea you're suggesting (it's hplanetbk)

yea thats great, I was thinking about adding a small spacestation to the skybox, but I am adding a mini model of the spacestation and having it orbit the moonbase. ( similar to the hologram.)

Continuing work on these tonight/tomorrow, give me some sort of image of the space station that you watn to use in the skybox and i'll put it in.

no, dont need the space station in the skybox, I am making a static model for it that will orbit the moonbase,

Can you add rings around the planet that span across from the bottom frame, couple of side frames, and all-the-way across the top frame?
