Police Issue Weapons on the computer?

The police lack any sort of weapons other than the 5-7s in the armory. How about adding a buying system on the computer in the Police Department for certain fire arms that are a little more... tactical in nature. I'm thinking Glock-20c, MP-5K, M-16. Those are the only weapons that should be available for purchase on the computer at a rate lower than that of the gun shops and without licenses. (Not too much lower) Either that or we should get these weapons in our armory. (Meaning we have to pay for the spawns right)

Suggest it to the mayor and/or chief of police Ingame and In character if you can, good idea. =)

I think as the orgs progress into the next stages of weaponry [ When most orgs get high powered guns ] , so should the PD.. AUG's for PD, vs m4's., ak's by the crime orgs, or whatever...

Tho cops would abuse the rifles when scrub robbers have a ruger/unarmed.

And no, buying packaged guns from the computer at a lower rate than the gunstore would just encourage people inside the Police Department to sell these weapons. Also, I've already set up with the mayor a Spas-12 Spawn once funding allows and afterwards, replacing the Five Seven with a different handgun, possibly either a Glock 20C or Berretta. Currently, the Org with the best weaponspawn isn't even a crime org, the Five Sevens will make do for now.

If the police needs a gun, the mayor will need to set up a tax fund to pay for it.

I will then subtract the needed money from everyone's bank account on the server.

DEAR GOD! I'm actually thinking that is pretty fair, but I'm sure others won't be so pleased with it Lol. Oh and ya if you want packaged guns NPC set up in the PD, it is true some cops are going to decide to sell them for profit ending up with everyone on the server with 50 packaged M-16s

I can see where that would lead to trouble. *shrug* The problem I have with weapon spawns is that they are fixed in the equipment on the gun. I personally detest flashlights on pistols, usually lasers too. But a laser on a SMG works. And a scope on a rifle.

I don't like flashlights either but the PD needs them if giving chase in the sewers cause trust me you'll need em.
