World Map for New Planet

I need a blank map of the planet we will be on, so it can be broken down into provences and such.

Something similar to this.

Looking for something like this that we can use as a World Map, will problly be used as a texture in a few places too

maybe 1 hand drawn, for like the natives and shit, and then 1 that looks like it is on a computer screen for the hi tech area and the space station




but 1 can be very simple, just for us to use in the canon ( making the geography and history of the planet and what gangs/provences are where.

How big do you expect this will have to be too? I'm thinking a good idea would be making this map a simple sheet of paper and black outlines on the planets, maybe behind some glass and a little yellowed from sun exposure. Then, for the space station, a white outline on black but with a green glow applied to the white, making it look like a screen.

That white outline with glow will also work great for the whole Hologram thing you need. Very easy to do in Photoshop.

I use additive to make holograms, which removes black and makes the rest seethrough and have a glow effect.


try to keep thim around 512x512, I know that doesnt give you much room to work with, but you can go over that amount too.

After making any texture that will be used on a 3d object, try to think of how it will fit on that object, and cut it into seperate parts accordingly.
