You worked pretty hard to get this server up and it was a good idea, But then some shit went down. (I'm not going to get into it because all hell will break loose)

but all I can see in the server now is people powergaming/metagaming/DM'ing Contradicting all of their own shit to avoid the down side of the shit they are introducing to get at one another.

I can't play anymore, everyone is trying to get there own way and isn't actually doing what the server is there for.. which is to have FUN.
And i'm pretty sure you wouldn't be having a great time either, I'm not even in the conflict and all I see is "Get don get don get don" I hope they start taking responsability and man the fuck up and L2P.




So um yeah, I may try to play again in a few weeks, but at the moment it's just not worth the hassle, hope it get's better for you all.

You may want to lock this thread to avoid a shitstorm.

This is the problem with TSRP these days. No one helps the noobs to RP.

Some one tought you how to RP properly, and if you want a community to thrive, each of you need to do your part.

All I can do is give you all the opportunity to build a strong community, I can create a server and ensure it is populated, but I can't teach everyone.

Yeah, I was taught, because I was willing to learn.

I tryed to teach some people when the server first open'd, I just got told to get fucked.

Also didn't think would need to teach admins how to play :S

Its is a bit hard to teach someone when all they want to do is kill each other and even when you try teach them they just ban you for nothing. Like i mean damo has been banned perm twice DAMO for god sake his like the best rper i know lol. I thought i was shit at rp until i came on an meet some of the admins on this server they take shit to the next level

Its a matter of authority and the Admins build the standards for the community, then the community builds the standards for the noobs. If the admins play at a low level then the community has diffuculty reaching above it. Since we have no authority and elmo rarely checks or even awknowledges the criticism he gets (or got since his stupidity and neglect has turned it to flame) theres not much oppertunity for him to improve, the only window for him to learn is from a friend or a superior.

I tought myself to roleplay as others have by attempting it with other members, i was corrected alot along the way and learned alot from the community, TSRP, or RP by itself is based on the community which is why if anything we should be helping each other out instead of flaming. On the other hand when you're getting told off by someone acting like a 12 year old boy for nothing in particular and then getting unjustified bans and constant abuse its easy to lose interest in the community.

Elmo i suggest once again that you APPOLOGISE to everyone you've fucked around with and try and start fresh. untill then i'll be thriving in the chaos within the community, =)

Admins learn too. People expect this to be AussieRP in its prime from day one, and guess what, we will problly never be able to replicate what AussieRP did.

They are getting better though, and with time the community as a whole (admins included) will find their place and find the balance between power and abuse.

Just for future referance for new addy's, its not considered role play to change your job title to doc just so you can break into the MD, and justifying it by saying you stole keycards from the nessisary officials. Normal Players cant do this, only addys, and the occasional spy that actually went through the correct channles (applying for the job, but still calling themselves one of the group their spying for after they get it (see: Campisi Famly Restraunt, Shaunsville)).

When considering a role play and you have admin powers at your disposal, take 1 thing into consideration: Would a normal player be able to do this? If yes, then by all means, go ahead, but if no, you might want to rethink your rp tactics...

Edit: Also, just becues a person killed another person dosent nessisarly mean that they were dming and need to be kicked. sometimes, they are being mugged and are trying to defend themselves a little too successfully. Another possibility is that they are rping, but its a murder scene. Try and investigate a little before kick/banning the offender....
