Organization Type: Gun Smuggling ring

What is it that your organization will do?
We do not kill anyone, unless it is a competitor who refuses to back down. We trade arms throughout Mevelport, and the profits are cleared through our private security agency. We are very secretive -- our Agents aren't even allowed to mention the Black Crescent outside of our local headquarters. The Director and Deputy Director are from Bahrain, but even they have superiors (who command the entire syndicate headquartered in Manama). Other members do not need to be of Arab origin, but they must prove loyalty to the Agency, in fear of death. Subversive members will be executed. Subversion is attempting to go over a superior's head, discussing the Agency outside our Mevelport "office", or otherwise being insubordinate.

Organization Bio:
The Black Crescent was formed by Abdullah al-Khalifa's superiors in Bahrain in 1974, to smuggle arms into the United States by taking advantage of the Soviet surplus weapons that had been scattered throughout the Middle East. At first it was a traditional Arab syndicate, but at one point they decided to lose the robes and wear well-tailored Italian suits. It followed Islamic tradition closely, but then the group was made neutral to religion and a lot of its members subverted -- but were dealt with. It was essentially Westernized. The group usually gets its shipments into the US by having the containers unloaded from the cargo ships when their "friendly" customs officials are on duty. They are then distributed to warehouses in strategic points throughout the continental US, and through a combination of bribery, secrecy, and discretion, the arms end up in our clients' hands.

The Syndicate also has a Political, and Military organization back in the 'old country' who take care of the problems there, the 'Military' will also come to help the Syndicate in Mevelport, should something desperate happens.
