| Have you ever played that old game Speedball 2 from Amiga or Genesis? For those who don't know what it is, Speedball 2 is a futuristic version of handball (The actual sport, not the game played in school playgrounds) but game rules are predominantly based on rules intended for a very violent game. Example: Your team can score match points by injuring the opponents players. Hitting your opponents are slide tackling them are also allowed. Youtube Video of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQbsVPxtHHcSince this game is set in roughly same era as Mobius with a similar setting, and also because Speedball 2 is an awesome game even though it's old. I was thinking we could implement this violent futuristic sport in to this with something like that Soccer Mod you see in CS running on it. Soccer Mod would definitely be more suited for TS as there are way more ways you can attack someone as opposed to the knife slash in CS. In the end, this implementation would hopefully attract alot of players to the server. It also brings a new element of RP in such as Sports and Team Management and helps to make the RP more active. | |

| Alternatively, you can create a database that can store player stats and their skills... so as they get better and play more often, they level up.... thus creating a value on that player and making the RP player trading much more fun. | |

| I was actually suggesting a mini-game kind of thing inside the RP server so people can have something to do. One of the problems back on DP was that even though there were people on the server, most of them would just be walking around doing nothing and stunting off buildings and such. At least with this Speedball game, people can join in and play around while still keeping it RPed and I wasn't thinking about it but I guess you could also bring in a skill mod as where the skills learnt can help you in situation outside of the speedball game.
Heres a few suggestions.

Agility > Improves running speed Nice idea. Also, add food so if you overeat you have less agility. LOL. oh, and add Strength, so you do extra damage with Kung-Fu.

| Newflash: The more coding, the more to go wrong, the less RP is done.
It would be great if we had a sport in server, but held in a lockable building. An organization could unlock hte building and supervise the sport, make or subtract rules, and the game could be played between teams. Statistics could be kept on the forums by the organization and recorded there for all to see. Teams created by Characters within the server would be recorded n a FOrum Thread and compared to others in whatever fields the organization can observe. This creates competition, player-relationships, and gives something to do/watch that anyone could be involved in. The sport could be changed as well whether it be competitive shooting, boxing, obstacles, private uses, fencing, whatever.
This solution would lessen the coding necessary, give more jobs, and make for more creative and extensive RPing.

| TOURNAMENTS YES AWESOME IDEA!! Disable damage in the sporting arena though, by putting Point_heals or whatever, so that there is no unfair play.
This could own the pants off other things.
And I also agree with locking it up : It will distract players from RPing. But if you only open it at certain times, people will group togther to play, and therefore RP together.
