i have to do a psycology experement for school. i've composed a small survey that i hope a few peole will at least look at...

1: how much time a day do you spend on the computer?
2: what is the majority of this time spent on? (ex: games, formbrowsing, ect)
3: why do you use the computer?
4: if on a forum, would you sooner answer a question presented by someone with more posts, or someone with less posts?
5: how do you feel about standardized goverment insitutuions for learning?

I like to think on a weekly basis that I get a fair time coverage for gaming, programming, web browsing, and chatting.

3: Why do you use the computer?
Knowledge and Entertainment

4: If on a forum, would you sooner answer a question presented by someone with more posts, or someone with less posts?
It doesn't matter what ones post count is, I will help anyone the best I can.
I also feel post count should not represent intelligence or reputation,

5: How do you feel about standardized government institutions for learning?
I have no issues with any institution as long as you can learn what you're passionate about. But those that permit you from learning anything other than required material or shun you from straying off governed course to pursue your own intellectual endeavors, should be shut down.

Depends. Weekdays like 4 hours
Weekends...depends on what I'm doing, if I'm not with my friends or girlfriend I'd play likely all day. Lol.

Games, Forums, Ventrilo, and the occasional youtube if I'm really bored.

....Really for entertainment and helping with homework.

Irrelevant. Posts don't show how cool you are or how lame you are. It just shows, Hey I'm the forums a lot, or I don't like forums.

Well that question is completely random compared to 1-4. And Really, Don't give a crap.

Forum browsing, VCE IT Software Developrment, occasionally playing games.

1. When i get home to when i fall asleep, generally 4 hours.
2. MSN - chatting to friends, and forums.
3. Efficiency and good for procrastination.
4. More posts, personally i don't care much.
5. Good.

facebook/gaming

3: why do you use the computer? easy to communicate with friends, games are fun.

4: if on a forum, would you sooner answer a question presented by someone with more posts, or someone with less posts? more posts. They're more likely to know what they are talking about.

5: how do you feel about standardized goverment insitutuions for learning? good, although some of the policies dont make alot of sense.
