Melissa Davidson was born an only child into a fairly wealthy family in the city of Melbourne, Australia. From a very young age, she was a very outgoing girl in all fields; socially, academically, artistically and even physically. 'Gifted' is what many people called her. She frequently held the lead role in school plays, musical ensembles, debates and sporting events.
In year nine, her family moved to Sydney, as her father had received a promotion to Chief Financial Adviser for the pharmaceutical company her worked for. The people were different here and Melissa ended up finding friends very different than she had back at home. She began to skip school with her new friends and took up smoking. Despite missing a lot of school, her grades didn't suffer much, still easily achieving A's or higher in all of her subjects.
Years passed and things got worse. She had become well acquainted with drugs and seemed to have a new boyfriend or girlfriend every week. Melissa wanted to experience everything in life and felt that the typical education was holding her back. Year 12 wasn't difficult for her, achieving good grades in Accounting, Mathematics, English, Art, Physics and Commerce. As soon as Year 12 was over, she took what money she had and left on a plane to Europe to travel on her own.
Melissa disappeared for three years, returning to her home in Sydney with some unexplained scars and virtually no luggage. She didn't tell anyone what happened. Now that she was back, she had to find a job, and her father was in a position to give her a job in the the financial area of the pharmaceutical company which he was high up in. She took the job, however it required her to move to Burbank City. Melissa didn't mind though.
Years passed.
On the train to work one morning, she met a man who she was instantly drawn to. Their eyes connected and they smiled. Melissa swallowed her fears and approached the man. They talked and talked, all the way to the station she got off at. Coincidentally the man, named Mark, got off that this stop too. Bravely, he told Melissa that he was free for the day and asked if she would like to join him for a coffee. She was about to decline due to work, however she impulsively decided not to go.
The two spent the whole day together, talking about everything, from drugs to business to fishing. Mark told Melissa of a business plan he had, using the money he had recently inherited from his Aunt. She was very interested and the two decided to look into actually making it happen. Unfortunately, Melissa was fired from her position. Feeling guilty, Mark promised to help find her a new job. He had a friend who worked at a modeling agency and suggested it to her. Melissa figured she had nothing to lose and started getting a professional modeling portfolio, with a sexy business woman look.
One month later, Melissa was getting a lot of work as a model, doing her business look and some lingerie. With the help of Marks part time labor allowed Mark and Melissa to move out to a small, but cozy apartment. When they weren't working, they planned the business they had discussed months ago when they first met. Within two months, the couple were engaged to be married and the company was coming close to deployment. It was to be called Walker Imports, in which Mark would run the business as a whole in the position of CEO and Melissa would handle the accounts and financial side of the business.
The couple wed quickly, around the time the business was about to begin. Melissa was in the final stages of purchasing a warehouse, setting up the bank accounts and ordering stock from abroad. Mark helped with the stock ordering, but was mainly busy training/hiring employees and putting up ads around the city.A photo from Melissa's folio; Move to Mevelport (Mevelport)- Spoiler:
Walker Imports was a great success. Melissa and Mark sold goods, mainly weapons, to citizens of Burbank, making large profits. Having a huge client base, the couple were well known and liked. Occasionally, there would be police trouble, but Melissa and Marks quick wit and intelligence always prevailed. Melissa noticed that Mark was becoming troubled about something, when she asked, he'd always hide it. One night, Melissa found a note (( From Burbank Forums )); - Quote :
- ***Note left in Walkers' warehouse late at night***
Dear valued employees...
Well more to the point *Dear Melissa*...
I regret to inform you guys that some very serious business down at the docks has come up and i must leave and go there for a lengthy business trip. There i will be trying to fix up these constant shipping errors that are either leaving us stockless or with the wrong stock.
So for now Melissa you are in charge of the company until i return... I don't know when i will be back, but hopefully it wont be long
- Mark Walker Months passed as Melissa worked hard at the warehouse. Mark never returned. Assuming the worst, Melissa became more and more depressed over time. Eventually she'd had enough, coming to the warehouse that her and her husband had worked so hard for each day just became too much for her. She sold the Warehouse, receiving quite a large sum of money. She needed a change. Looking on the internet, she searched for a place to move to, one place caught her eye... Mevelport.
Moving to Mevelport, she read over newspapers looking for somewhere to live. Finally, she found a cosy apartment with a woman named Azura Sarah. She called Miss Sarah and arranged a meeting to apply for the room. Next up, was work. This would prove to be more of a challenge, as her prospects weren't exactly legal. Asking around town, she gained enough information to assume that the people working at the LepriCo Production Plant might be of interest to her. Finding the plant, she slipped a note under the door. - Quote :
- To whom it may concern,
I have moved here from Burbank with prospects of a new life. Through some investigation, i have heard that you sell goods to the public. I have excellent financial skills and would love to help in your operation.
Regards, Melissa Walker Melissa received a call a few days later from Lepri. She had been accepted for the job and was very excited. Over the next year and a bit, she put her skills to work, making a social network of contacts, making large profits from her sales. However, Mevelport was slowly dying... the economy was crashing, people could hardly afford to live, let alone buy drugs. This wasn't good news. Houses began to be sold and people started to leave for better places. Mevelport was a ghost town.
Without clients and a lot of product, Melissa began to start taking drugs regularly. Eventually she pulled herself together a little and decided she had to move on. She sold what she could for what little money she could. She'd hardly made any profit over the months she spent in Mevelport. Thinking it over thoroughly, she decided to return to Burbank, she missed it a lot, despite the bad memories. She rented a car and packed in the masses of drug supplies she still had, as well as her personal belongings and left for Burbank.
Return to Burbank (Burbank)- Spoiler:
It was good to be back, Melissa couldn't help but to smile. Just the smell of the air brought back memories. However, the town had developped a lot. It hardly resembled its old self. Tall buildings had been erected which blocked out the sky. Still... it was home. She strolled around town when her eyes gazed upon and shabby old warehouse. She looked up and read the sign, smiling. "Walker Imports" it read. She wasn't sure why it was abandoned, but she had to have it back, get the business going again.
Reading a sign on the door, she found a number to call in regards to purchasing or renting the warehouse. Making the call, the man was very interested in selling it, but he was asking a fair lot for it... more than she'd sold it for over a year ago. She wouldn't have much money left after the purchase, but its what she wanted. She met the man at a local diner to discuss the specifics of the sale and the purchase was completed rather quickly without hassle.
Heading to the warehouse, she opened the old roller shutter doors and looked around. Not much had changed since she left. Days passed as she swept, cleaned and repaired the warehouse. It was looking in pretty good shape, she was happy. Finally, it was time to call her old suppliers and order her first shipment of goods. After making the order, she went around Burbank putting up fliers for employment in the warehouse. She frowned as she remembered doing all this so long ago with Mark, wondering what happened to him. Member BiographiesIndividual Applications (will post links here) Apply in Applications section of forum or call Melissa Walker in game. How will the Organization Benefit the ServerThe organization will be a neutral party in the server. We will deal weapons discretely to anyone willing to buy them. This will be good as we will have affiliations with criminals, trying to fill weapons orders in secret away from the police. This will create good role play for cops, trying to catch us in the act of selling goods. Selling weapons this way is a lot nicer than gun spawns too, creates some enjoyable role play. Also, to add. Like last time, clients will come to me as opposed to me roaming the streets trying to sell guns.
