* A patient tumbles in with a knife wound. What do you do? Clean the wound and treat the patient. I then proceed to bandage and stitch the wound. I prescribe pain medicine to ease the pain after surgery. Patient is then discharged.

* A patient slumps in with a bullet would. What do you do? I put the patient to sleep. I then begin to proceed with removal of bullet, if still in-tact. I clean the wound and try to stop any serious bleeding immediately. I stitch and bandage the wound. I prescribe pain medicine and warn them that various physical activity can cause harm to them. Patient is then discharged.
