Kridonian Virus

Date & Time: October 1, 2008 Afternoon (random outbreaks)

Characters Involved: L. Linn, Cina Mullin, Red Hammer Military

Prologue:
Ullamition Sickness is the only illness we've been able to completely identify and study since arriving to Kridon V. However we know there are other germs and viruses lurking, to combat this, the Medical Officer has been running warnings and messages urging all to check in every three days and when ever injured.

After a series of missions the soldiers begin to succumb to fatigue, and many start the show the signs of illness.

Result of the scenario? (if there is one): The illness that plagues many soldiers, those were checked the least, will be a Virus we know only know a bit about. It's in result of staying on Kridon V for extended amounts of time, and possibly other factors as well. This illness will render a portion of the Military hospitalized or possibly dead, however a series of antibiotics and cures will stem from it.

Anything else?: IC, this will add a realistic turn of events as well as would throw in a new factor. OOC, those that did not adhere to general orders will be removed or given a staggering change in conditions. The balance of power will even out, and Humans will become less than superior, this will drive more people to become Tolus or E'Newa but won't be devastating enough to kill off the Humans.

This RP would continue over a course of days. Soldiers in the Medical Records would be indicated as infected or not, and the sickness will gradually either become worse, or better. The outcome isn't based solely from one person. This will give the Soldiers new RP, the Medical lots of RP, and will bring something better than the 'population dead in 1 day' scenario.

It may kill some, but there's always millions more to take their place.

but anyway, good job shon. except for the fact that re-administering jobs to people in tolus isn't such a great idea, or something to hope for. it's a pretty dangerous area as well.

It's mostly to bring a realistic encounter to those that are most likely to be affected. Having been on for a couple hours, I've noticed MANY soldiers being injured on Kridon. Mostly bullet wounds. Infection is easy when your blood is exposed, and so some comes sicknesses like this Virus. Don't expect like 1/3 of the military to just die off. It really depends on how the roleplayer handles the sickness, symptoms, and so on. Some may become sick and seek help often, others may completely ignore it, however either way they are in danger.

Right now Military are the bulk of the RP. Almost everyone is in it. They're hte ones who will get hit.
When we have a more equal spectrum, disease can spread.
